Rust Series

Artwork by Robert Giordano

Rust is formed by the reaction of iron and oxygen in the presence of water or air moisture. Given sufficient time, oxygen, and water, any iron mass eventually converts entirely to rust and disintegrates.

This series is about the forces of nature acting upon the things we build. It is about the two elements we need to survive, oxygen and water, slowly returning our iron creations to dust.
